Corporate.

1. Learn to fully listen: notice what's unsaid to reveal the real culture.

2. Match values to actions: decisively align behaviour with stated values.

3. Use values to support objectives: ensure values actively support your organisational focus.

4. Give people a reason to care: connect values to a vision and purpose that people believe in.

5. Use the vernacular: express values in language your people actually use.

Personal.

6. Is it a value or belief: distinguish chosen values from inherited (sometimes limiting) beliefs.

7. What do you want: shape your life around your real priorities.

8. Just one thing: start with one action that brings your values to life.
