The point of difference

You're not the same.

Every company can seem the same. Same words, same style, same service.

But yours is different. Your growth has come from something worth protecting. How do you capture that and share it?

Because if you don't express it … you'll just seem the same, too.

I help you capture the point of difference (your purpose, your principles, your way) then use it to define your future.

Services

Every service approach is designed to capture and harness your point of difference.

Every engagement is shaped around the organisation in front of me: its stage, its people, what is actually at stake. Each one is a different route into the same work, identifying and expressing what makes you genuinely different, and built on the Active Ethos® method set out in my book Junk Values, shortlisted for the Business Book Awards. The categories below are offered as a guide rather than a menu.

01

Strategic clarity engagements

Founder-led and family-owned organisations approaching a turning point.

A focused programme of work with a leadership team to uncover, express and align around what genuinely makes the organisation work, and to translate it into the principles, standards and language people can actually use. Typically three to six months. Outcomes: shared leadership language, clearer decision-making, a usable expression of what must always be preserved.

02

Senior leadership off-sites

Leadership groups ready for a serious conversation rather than a standard team-building day.

Designed and facilitated sessions, usually one to three days, that move leadership conversations from polite to honest, from honest to useful. Actions are embedded into the process: everyone here has purpose during and after the off-site.

03

Growth & succession advisory

Founders, CEOs and boards during transition, investment or handover.

Ongoing strategic counsel as the organisation moves through growth, leadership change, investment, integration or generational handover. A retained relationship, flexibly scaled to meet needs.

04

Strategic narrative & positioning

Leadership teams whose external story has fallen out of step with the organisation they've become.

Sharpening how the organisation describes itself, to clients, to investors, to its own people, so that the story matches the substance. Particularly useful in advance of a fundraise, a sale, or a brand refresh.

Wondering where to start?

Our starting point is a conversation. I don’t expect you to have the answers: that’s where I come in. These conversations help us identify the brief.

In their words

Her ability to listen deeply and provide insightful guidance on aligning our values with our team's perspectives was extremely useful. Her passion for values-driven leadership and her ability to facilitate open dialogue made the entire process smooth and more impactful.
